Argentina's Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, and the Governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, held a meeting at the Casa Rosada to discuss the progress and details of the 2026 Budget Project, which the national government will present next week to the National Congress. They also analyzed the bills that will be debated during the extraordinary sessions. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Secretary of National Treasury, Carlos Guberman, and the Minister of Economy of Tucumán, Daniel Abad, also participated in the meeting, addressing technical aspects related to budget items, works, and transfers planned for the next fiscal year. In parallel, the ruling coalition is deepening political efforts to secure the necessary parliamentary support. The head of the La Libertad Avanza bloc in the Senate, Patricia Bullrich; the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Martín Menem; and Santilli himself will lead a round of contacts with various political sectors in the coming days to advance the approval of the 2026 Budget and the labor reform during the extraordinary sessions.
